Got jobs!

Mum very excitedly informed me when I got home today : 'don't worry, there's a lot of jobs!'

Before I'd removed my shoes or locked the gate, she'd hurried out of her room to show me this article

As I tried to make out the headlines in the dark of the evening (austerity drive, didn't turn on the lights), she followed up with a '900! they need 900!' and then gave me a look like she'd unearth some hidden goodies.

Poor mummy....unfortunately, I don't have the confidence to tell her I'll never lose my job :(

And though she had said resolutely she didn't want to join Yee Ma and family this Dec on the trip to Korea because she'd been there before, her next line was 'anyway, got no money'...

Sigh...job insecurity sucks!
